Look at the hand painted postcards - the color is not selected to be correct but to show best look af the building. I some cases is the photo taken at the places, bat else I have selected photoos showing the motive from an diffent angle. This is only a selection of cases as you can do this with many of the old postcards showing famous sites. For pictures at strrets is it more difficult to find the same spot.
